Last updated: 3 October 2026.

1. Who is responsible

CLEAN WHALE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. (UEN 202644653M), 10 Anson Road, #13-09, International Plaza, Singapore 079903. Contact: [email protected]. Address privacy enquiries and requests to our data protection contact at [email protected].

2. Information we handle

When you use the platform we may handle your name, email address, telephone number, service address, property and access details, selected tasks, booking history, communications and complaint information. Website requests also involve technical information such as IP address, browser information and security logs. Provide only information needed for your booking; avoid unnecessary sensitive details in free-text fields.

3. Purposes and consent

We use information to arrange bookings with independent providers, coordinate access, communicate service updates, manage accounts, resolve complaints, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We notify you of relevant purposes and obtain consent where required by Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), unless an applicable exception permits the handling. We do not make marketing consent a condition of arranging a cleaning service. You may withdraw consent by contacting us; we will explain the likely consequences, including when a service cannot proceed without necessary booking details.

4. Sharing and overseas processing

Independent service providers receive the contact, address, access and service information needed to perform a confirmed booking. Hosting, security, communication and payment providers may process information needed for their functions when those services are enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law or to handle a legal claim. Our infrastructure and service providers may be located outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, applicable PDPA requirements, including comparable protection, must be met. We do not publish customer addresses or sell customer contact details.

5. Payment information

When online payments are enabled, the payment service identifies the available method and handles its processing under its own applicable terms. Do not send card numbers or security codes in booking notes or email. Booking records may include payment status and transaction references needed for support and accounting.

6. Retention and protection

Access to booking information is restricted according to operational needs. We use appropriate safeguards and assess data incidents under applicable notification requirements. Information is retained while needed for the stated purposes or legal and business obligations, then deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your requests

You may contact [email protected] to request access to your personal data and information about its use or disclosure, correction of inaccuracies, withdrawal of consent, or help with a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity before responding and apply lawful exceptions. Any permitted fee will be explained in advance. Where deletion is requested, we will consider the request alongside retention obligations; deletion is not an unconditional right in every situation.

8. Marketing and cookies

Promotional messages require the relevant permissions and compliance with applicable Singapore rules, including Do Not Call requirements where relevant. Use an unsubscribe link when supplied or email us to opt out. Essential booking notices may still be sent. See our Cookies Policy for website storage and browser controls.

9. Contact and updates

Contact [email protected] or write to our registered office with privacy enquiries. We will update this notice when our processing changes, with additional notice or consent where required. You may also raise concerns with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission.
